My Project definition: to create soundscape expressing the Ultrasound.
The gradient concept express the basic principle of ultrasound qualities, what led me to design a space that reflects gradation
The purpose of the project design: attract the attention to metapatterns as one of the binary family, filtering the yarkon river in gradual separate of dirty and clean water, by doing this effect on the surround environment of the site gradually as well.
Also, the purpose to emphasize the gradient relationships proceeding in space, the gradient changes which lead to understanding of nonexistent start/end point of the process,
There is an interaction between gradation flow parts; every formation created depends accordingly to situation exists before.
The process of finding new metapaterns in space is endless, so the variable form of absorption of the space.
Anyway, the part we apply to, creates the understanding of our space.
This perception based on conclusions after creating an animation during the project, which demonstrate the gradual vision of the site,(space), during simulation of the ultrasound work. The gradation recognizable in morphological transformation levels of the objects that turn slowly during motion from bright to dark, from sharp to smooth and blurry depends on depth distant -meaning the proximity to the ultrasound wave.
This awareness appear while using the digital media, in particular “z-buffering” render, which manage objects depth coordinates in tree-dimensional space in digital reality. It presents the object’s distance in monochrome grayscale colors, from white to black and formal transformation from sharp to smooth until the absolute disappearances in the darkness.
Consider the research about bats as users of ultrasound to navigate in space, I discovered there are moments of completely darkness, while the ultrasound wave releases and returns bat have to connect intuitively the space images puzzle in order to understand the whole spatial picture around.
This leads to assumption that space appears in gradation and slowly create the whole image of the unique new space around
